Yocan Evolve Plus XL Troubleshooting

The Yocan Evolve Plus XL fails to power on, most commonly due to a depleted battery. Devices such as vape pens require charging; prolonged disuse may result in complete discharge. Simply connect it to a charger until fully charged to activate. If it suddenly ceases functioning despite regular use, the battery may have reached end-of-life. Such batteries typically support 300–400 charge cycles and require replacement after extended use.

Connection failure. An issue with the battery and atomiser connection; the atomiser heats the e-liquid to produce vapour. If the connection is loose, the device will not activate. Check and ensure the connection is secure. You may also clean any residue from the connection points using a cotton bud dipped in alcohol.

Damaged heating element. The Yocan Evolve Plus XL’s heating element is responsible for vaporising the e-liquid. If damaged, the device will cease to function. Causes may include overheating, excessive use, or physical impact. To diagnose this issue, test with an alternative atomiser. Should the device operate normally with the replacement, the faulty heating element must be replaced.

Prepare materials: cotton buds or cotton balls, a small amount of isopropyl alcohol.

Press the ignition button five times to switch off the device.

Remove the atomiser and base section from the Yocan Evolve Plus XL.

Dampen a cotton bud or cotton ball with isopropyl alcohol.

Use the cotton bud (or cotton ball) to clean the contact points inside the Yocan Evolve Plus XL battery, as well as the base section and the underside of the atomiser.

Allow all components to air dry for several minutes before use.
